Summer is when everyone wanted to enjoy the heat of the sun. We all wanted to spend time outdoors! The nature is calling and it is hard to resist. This is the time we all have been waiting for! Let us just enjoy!

When the music of nature does not satisfy you, here, have some of the best classical music to accompany you in your summer road trip.

My road trip to La Union, Philippines.

1. I LOVE Bolero! The theme is repeated 18 times throughout the piece. The Snare-drum that underpins the music will totally give you so much enjoyment while driving. Tap tap tap tapitty tap tapitty tapitty tapitty tap. This has been Ravel's most popular work. And I can listen to it all day!
2. Sergey Rachmaninov's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Op. 43: Variation 18. It's the composer's most memorable themes in the whole piece and one of the soundtracks for the all time favorite travel film Somewhere in Time. Enjoy the recording of CINEMA CLASSICS, Vol. 4 together with other famous cinema hits.
3. Swan Lake, Op. 20: Dance of the Little Swans by our favorite Tchaikovsky. C'est parfait quand vous êtes dans un lac qui regarde des cygnes. That's literally a joke. But, why not, when there are really swans.
4. Another favorite is the first movement of Schubert's String Quartet No. 13. I really like how the the instruments are conversing to one another. N'est-ce pas?
5. And of course, how can we forget Bach's Prelude from Cello Suite No. 1, BWV 1007?
Et vous, quel est votre favori? Here are my road trip photos:
