Following our adventure? I am glad to present to you our destinations!!!

Tayid Lighthouse

We were not able to climbed the Tayid Lighthouse unlike the one in Basco. It was not allowed during our visit. However, the surrounding sceneries are equally beautiful. Hills all in beautiful shades of green will take you to the queen Mount Matarem in which just like Mount Iraya is also waiting for guests to please.

We didn't stay long. The area is obviously private that there were cows freely roaming in the property protected by the fence of wood and barbed wires.

San Carlos Borromeo Church

Baroque architecture mixed with the local interior design, this church was constructed in 1873 under the Dominican priest Fr Crescencio Polo, O.P. The church is well-maintained that's why it is now one of the Philippines national treasures.

To its left side, the Batanes Blank Book Archive is located where books and its empty pages are waiting to filled by visitors' thoughts and wishes. It is for me a collection of journal written by the visitors. It would be nice to read these in the future when it becomes open and available for reading "a library way."

White Beach and Hohmoron Lagoon

Some might want to throw themselves in the water immediately and I understand.

The water is so inviting! But, I had enough beach from Sabtang. First time for me to ignore the waters' invitation.

Apologies for that.
